The car was broken into this week ;(

I cant believe thanksgiving is coming up soon! My favorite holiday is Christmas mainly because I get to give gifts to those I love.  This Christmas my family and I hope to be in the house that we just looked at and applied for.  Prices in Utah are very low for homes that are worth double. We are taking advantage of this and hope everything goes well.

This week I worked my long hours at work. Basically from 5 A.M to 3 P.M is my schedule from Monday to Friday.  Shockingly I manege to do it and was not tired... :) sweet .  I was even able to hang out some nights with friends and work out.

Dallin needed a place to stay  so I said he could at my place for a bit but then had to tell him to find somewhere else. Mainly because it is not my home and I do share my place with roommates. Well other then going through with kicking Dallin out and buying a home, my car (Bruce's car) got broken into on Friday morning .

Everything was a mess , they took the stereo but sadly left the inside vendiliezed. The dashboard was taken out and was stuffed jammed in the glove compartment hole. The second I opened the door , first thing in my head was: the doors were probably not locked and who ever did it, had time to go through my back-back with papers and had plenty of time to go through the car . The driver door was locked but not the passenger door the passenger window was slightly cracked open.

Well I was very upset first and then was sad and crying. Mainly because I had failed to keep Bruce's car safe and protected. I felt very very bad. First person I called was Dallin, asked him if he left the doors unlocked. My heart then asked me to call Joe my BYU brother who I knew would be awake at 5am. He comforted me and I was able to go to work. On my way to work I texted my close friend Derek. He was able to comfort me as well but also gave me some advice. By the time I was almost done with work I could not be there anymore, the fact that I was un-easy and needed to get home asap. I had Bruce come with me to my house and told him what had happened. He filled a police report and was ask some questions.

Overall I had a lot on my plate but was able to have the spirit with me to help me and guide in these tough times. I am grateful for great friends and very, very grateful to have siblings who love me. As much as it sucks being robbed and losing that trust for everyone, you learn and prepare for much bigger experiences soon to come your way .

Derek IS HOme!!!

This weekend was way fun for me. Couple of drama but not too much. The biggest News is that my friend Derek Wallin Return from his Paris France Mission!! Way fun day on Friday night and Saturday Derek met my family and his friend came to have breakfast. The game was not as fun b/c of BYU fans... Im sorry Im not a fan of BYU People. Their too much in their bubble. I love the Gospel but not a fan of the students.

Now that Derek is home and Dallin is not moving to Florida it makes me happy. :) On Friday I had some time to go visit old co-workers from Strategic Staffing and good seeing them all. Dal and I then met up with Derek when he arrived to UTah and seeing him was so sweet!! We caught up for a little, I love hearing his French cause it's freakin sweet. I wasnt a fan of French but when him and Chris (his friend who came to the game with us) would speak it to each other , it was soo cooool!!! So for it was great seeing him and just hopefully all goes good with him. :)

I went on a date on Sunday with a guy that I had met over the week through my realitor. I didnt want to because Im not interested in other boys but did anyways. Ha ha well I wasnt planning to hang out with him all night but did. Opps... getting up in the morning at 5am was a beast.
Well Im still dating but not liking who I date, not clicking with any one, I work alot but enjoy hanging out with friends like Dallin and now that Derek is home, it should be way fun too.

Was Sick for Halloween but Thanksgiving will be here soon

Soon to be THANKSGIVING!!! oh boy time has passed by fast. I cant run as fast as time but I'm still able to meet my six miles in 45 mins.  This last week I was sick so was not able to run very much but I always get back in shape with in few days. I was not able to dress up for Halloween because of my cold that I had for few days but I was able to go to the FORmal BAll of AirForce at BYU for Joe and his friend this past weekend. It was incredible, lovely night, very organized. I enjoyed the event but for going back out with my date ...well not my type, as you all know I am very picky in how they look and act when it comes down to relationships with boys.

Drama with boys was pretty interesting. Basically Utah is just a small state. You see Dallin asked me if I had ever hooked up with this certain guy he knew... well this certain guy was actually the guy who kissed that other girl in front of me.. remember that.  Funny thing is that this guy was told I was taken and had a boyfriend, and thats why he hooked up with the other girl.  After I explained that I never had a boyfriend since I have been back, the boy texted me a day later and wanted me to get back with him.... ha ha I laughed and said No way. He hurt me and I am over him. Long story short Im still single and hanging out with my friend Dallin.

Dallin will be moving to Florida soon, :( yes I know sad but Derek is now off his mission  from France so hopefully hang out with him.  His in Arizona with his Family now, and MAtt still has few more months left on his mission in Germany. Felix of course is married, so I don't hang out with him and  Chandler is back from Brazil but works many hours.

This week is the big BYU vs San Diego football game and I should see Derek this weekend. I would love to hang out with Derek more mainly because I enjoy his company and is fun to be around. He and Matt have a certain sense of humor that I like, and his very chill.

Almost time for HALLOwEEnIe

Ah its almost time for Halloweenie!!! What should I wear??? This year it has seriously harder to pick a costume then any other year. I first started with the idea of being wonder women, I found some costumes but was not satisfied. I basically came down to the idea of being girl Robin from Ba
tman and then an indian and then a HalloWEENie (a hot dog), but came down to the decision of not dressing up this year. I just want to chill, watch scary movies and eat chocolate :)... oh wait I did that last night. Ha ha never mind I guess I would have to dress up.

So last week I did my first full week at Strategic Staffing, it went ook. Before Hawaii I worked with them as an employment specialist and receptionist in the West Jordan location, but now in the the new Orem office. Honestly would rather work in the West Jordan. My co-workers there were so cool, I loved working with them all. Now I just go to work and not much happening.

During the week other then work I went to several haunted houses. Dallin and I went to the Haunted Forest with Kyle and Maddi, and like usual I didn't get scared. I also went to another haunted house in Tooele with few friends in Salt Lake, and to no surprise it wasn't scary either.

Last night a lot of drama happened to Dallin but to keep his mind off all the drama I came over and watched a movie with him. We chose a scary movie and ate Halloween candy, yum, yum. The movie was The Exorcism of Emily Rose and was not scary at all to me, but he thought it was. ha ha oh DaL.

Saturday Morning Julia & Blake had me do a photo shoot with them. It was pretty cool because we had to act as if we were co-workers in an office. Blake's dad had us be in a board room and just pretend to have a board meeting.. Blake of course was the boss of us, ha ha. The shoot was for his Dad's company so we were just there to help him out, but it was just fun overall.

well the week is not quite over so more would happen, but till then smile and live your life. :)

MY LIfe Back in UTah

I moved back to Orem, Utah and at first moved in at my mother's place for a bit. A month later I was in my own condo with two roommates.

My roommates and I, well all three of us get along very well and we are very much a like. Danielle is the oldest and tallest, she is from Utah County. She is a runner like myself but she is a lot more dedicated then I am. Not only does she run every morning rain or snow, but has ran Marathons for 10 years, and is a vegetarian &
vegan. Danielle works full time for a student housing apartment complex as the office
manager. Piper is my second roommate who is from
California and Chicago. She is a lot more chill on what she eats. She eats whatever, even drinks regular milk. Piper graduated from Utah Valley University. Currently works full time as a server in one of the top restaurants in Orem. Myself, I'm the shortest and youngest, I'm in the middle, I eat meat like Piper but also have certain health habits like Danielle for example the milk we both drink is soy-milk. All three of us run and are very athletic. We are three single, L.D.S ladies who are working and enjoy staying in shape.

Since I have been back my old friends from before all have gotten married or on missions. Matt, & Derek are on missions. Felix, Makell, Marissa, Maddison and April are now all married. It is kinda weird to me mainly because with the guys I cant hang out with. :( Lindsay and I are no longer friends, their was a lot of drama. I told her she was a flake, but to change and follow through with what she says, but that made it worst, I guess the truth hurts.
I have met
new guy friends and enjoy their company. When I first moved in with Danielle she introduced me to the ward and I met few from there. One guy in particular I had a crush on, his a huge soccer player and loves Hispanics. A caucasian who was raised in Mexico as a child but was born in Texas, who loves to volunteer at orphan homes in the Latin America and loved coaching soccer. It went well seeing each other for a week and then just fizzed out at the end and stopped talking to each other. There have been others I've dated but still no click with any. I've hang out with Dallin quite a bit, his really chill. I met him through Derek (who is now in a Paris, France Mission). When I lived in Utah I loved hanging out with the guys: Felix, Matt, Chandler, Scott, Dallin and Derek, but when I came back some were on missions or married. So now Dallin and I have been hanging out a lot more. I love the fact his fun to go out with and we both just stay home watching movies as friends. His a good guy friend, and thats all I see him as.

My really good girl-friends are Kristan and Amber who live by me and Julia who won Miss Utah USA last year. I met Julia in a meeting for the pageant when I was preparing my self to run for MISS UTAH USA. I did not go through with it after going to my Father in Heaven and really thinking about it. My decision felt right and not going through with it. I met a wonderful friend instead. :) We both have more in common then we thought, we love running and staying in shape but we are girls so chocolate is always our weak spot. I love the fact Julia is very mature and there is no drama with her. She is very real and has such a fun personality. We get along very well, we are both outgoing and bubbly personalities. Kristan and Amber have been friends since high school and both from Utah. Kristan I met when I was freshmen in college, we enjoy hanging out and having our laughs. Kristan is our entertainer. I see them here and there but not too much.

Live you Life: I'm continuing my life as it comes but just trying to get more financially secure. Not only has the economy gone down but it is very important we stay out of debt. I feel very strongly to continue to work and save. So travels and races will have to hold off till I am more sturdy on my feet.

LIve YOUR LiFe

I moved to Hawaii, I was 20 years old  about to turn 21 in few months when I did the big change. Ready to enjoy my last few months before reporting to the MTC and going to serve for my church. I had left Utah, left my job and family to go on a mission. I felt great about it and moving was the best thing for me to do. I bought my airplane ticket, not knowing anyone or anything about Hawaii I arrived on the Island. Very eager to start my new life and new challenges to start I was ready. I made friends very quick, I moved to the island of Oahu and lived in the North Shore. I had planned few months before arriving but all was in my head. I found my ward and was ready to put my mission papers in. I had saved up enough money to not needed to work and be safe till I was in the MTC. At first I had one roommate and lived a huge 14 bedroom home across the ocean. We were very excited to both be transfers students and LIVE OUR LIVES. Sam was my roommate and she was from oregon, a sophomore in college studying at BYU Hawaii. I was not a student and preparing for my mission papers. By the time it came for my mission papers to go in I was ready, but the lord had other plans for me. Last interview before the papers went in I was denied. I know how can you be denied well it's the lord's call and I was not ready.
That didnt stop me, I still lived and enjoyed Hawaii and stayed there for a little bit longer. My experience there was amazing, I met wonderful friends who i will never forget and will always have in my heart. Everyone there was so dear to me and just loved how happy and chill everyone was. My last roommates were amazing, I loved all four girls and learned so much from each and one of them. The boy drama still continued and it got worst mainly because the guy there were not members and dating them was hard. With or without boys I had my pleasures in enjoying my sun laying and swimming times in HAWAII. Time went by fast and next thing you know about another year flew by, it was time for me to head back to Utah and continue and finish my School in UVU.

College!!!

I was debating for many months on what college to go to but after really going with my gut I decided. I ended up in Orem Utah for Utah Valley State College, I had received a scholarship for cheerleading and was able to attend a four year college in Utah. Before coming out to the college I came to BYU to tour the campus and see if this is really where I want to be.  I saw hot boys and that convinced me to stay in Utah, ha ha funny but really that helped a lot.
I lived across ca
mpus and was able to meet a lot of close friends I have now. Very close that I speak to still and will always be my friends for many years to come. I had a lot of boy drama then and honestly yah I did play the field but mainly because I was young and was played several times by others. The first year I was taking care of Bruce too because he moved her for high school, so he had college roommates but attended high school.  By the 2nd year of my college after staying up late and missing some classes and doing cheerleading I was getting exhausted. I enjoyed cheer but not as
much because the demand of practices and more pressure. I knew I had to stop cheering to get my grades up. I left the team and decided to work full time instead
.
I did two years in college in Orem and then moved to the GATEWAY in Salt lake city where my new full time job was located. I managed to do a semester in Salt
lake Community College with full time work. I worked with Strategic and after a year I had decided to go on a mission and move to Hawaii while my mission call was being processed.

High School Year in California

By the time I was going to the Jr. High my brothers and I were split up. My parents had gotten a divorced and my mother moved us to California. The Liston Family was the only ones we knew and we didn't even know them, only my mother had spoked to them over the phone. They were a family of a missionary that baptized me in New York and was very closed to my family. Travis Liston was Elder Liston who helped my mother out very much. We traveled across country from the East coast to West coast on a GreyHound Bus. It seemed like it was a whole weeks journey but really it was like three days. We arrived in Turlock California and lived there for few years. My family now was split, my older brothers with my father and the rest with my mother. Those with my motherl were raised in California. We moved to Hilmar California and basically all of my high years was there. Hilmar is 15 minutes south of Turlock which is located by Sacramento metro area and was a farm place full of cattle. I attended Turlock High School since that is where most of my first friends I knew from Jr. High went. Graduated from there and was able to complete all four years in Student Government and cheerleading. My last year was my busiest year, captain of the cheer team and won State Nationals. I was into track as well with cross country and soccer squeezed in my schedule. I was overloaded but that is what kept me busy and out of trouble. I loved doing all sorts of sports and was very social in my school with my peers. I loved my friends in California but also needed to move on with my life and go to college.

ChildHood in New York CIty

United States here we come!! I was 4 years old about to be 5 years old when I stepped foot on American soil. My Father had lived here for quite a while and my Grandma way before him. Our Grandmother Angela (my father's mother) was who brought us to the States. We flew from Guatemala to Florida, we received our passports and then to New York City. The second we were in our hotel I remember seeing american kids playing around the pool and I then saw the faucets in the shower and thought.. "Wow Gold faucets" and knew we were in America (they were really just gold colored). We arrived in New York City and just remember tilting my head way back and staring at the long tall buildings. It was the biggest thing I've ever since. So many cars everywhere and people of all sorts of colors. I was amazed, shocked and so happy to be in America, mainly because everyone in Guatemala would talk about how rich and great America was.

We lived in Queens, New York.  Our apartment complex was by a grocery called Western Beef where the frozen foods really were in the freezer, you had to be in a snow jacket to shop in there. There were other shops around us too like the chinese food for chow-ming and few snack shops. There was a public pool but it cost $11 a person to get in, so my brothers and I would wait till the fire department opened the fire hygergent and have all the water come out. We would play at the park with this huge world in the middle of it called "Flushing Meadows, Corona Park" My brothers and I would play there all day, there were times my brother's bikes were stolen. It wasn't such a bad neighborhood but pretty rough compared to many in other states. There were gangs around our home but my mother's example of caring for everyone never did any harm to our family. My youngest brother and I had our first pet, a bunny who we named Poo-key. He past away because my mother feed him alfalfa. We buried him in that park and our Father allowed us to do a ceremony for him.  This park wasn't far from our school. My elementary school was P.S. 120. Our fun was  playing hand ball ( a blue rubber ball bouncing it to a wall) and jump rope. There was no grass, because it was all blacktop so any of those chalk games were fun.
All of my childhood memories are very vivid from my life in New York City but it wasn't long till my brothers and I would have our lives change.

Guatemala, don't remember much but certain smells take me back

Once in Guatemala City I remember most of my young childhood. I don't remember much but certain taste and smells do remind me of events of my childhood. For example the taste of certain fruit I would eat as a young child would take me back to the days I climbed on my grandmother's trees by her house. And the sound of Tortillas being slapped on a hand remind me of the days my Mom would take us to the market. I remember playing outside with my little brother Bruce and cousin Mitzi. Her and I would do gymnastics and run around trying to play with the older boys, such as our other brothers. I do recall how our home looked like very well, we lived in a large three story red brick building, almost like a castle.
The memory I have very vivid is when my Uncle Paul would come back from his trips from France, Italy and all over Europe and would come see us. I remember waiting for him at the bottom of the hill and just excited to hug him.  We couldn't speak english so seeing him and hearing him was very exciting to us.

I was born in Central America

I was born in the country of EL Salvador in the capital called San Salvador. The Country is in Central America located south of Guatemala and south west of Honduras. I was the sixth of five boys, born on my mother's birthday and being the only girl her gift.

There was a lot of war going on by the time my youngest brother Bruce was born few years after me.  Once he was born, my mother moved our family to Guatemala city, Guatemala. My father by this time was in New York getting things ready for our family to come to America. My mother's family was already established  in Guatemala so we were now much closer to her side of her family. By the time we moved to Guatemala I had been 3 years old, being the second youngest of 7 children and the only girl.

I am who I am because of my Background

Many may know my ethnicity but others have guessed. Just to make it clear I am Full Hispanic but 50/50 of latin cultures.  My mother is from Guatemala and My father is from El Salvador.  That makes me Salvadorian and Guatemalian. I am Americanized so very hard for me to go back to my countries and mix with the cultures of my own blood. I have been raised in the States and who I am today is because of my background. I Love meeting new people and just multicultural person, learning new personalities to new ethnicities.

DRAMA with THE BOYS in my life

Alright everyone now for my life Drama. As most of you know that my life drama is with the boys I date.  The latest thing that has happened was that my ex boyfriend and I ran into each other at a concert. Like usual he and I are always flirty when we see each other, I liked him mainly because we are very social and his always makes me smile. We broke up for a reason, his not active in the church and never saw that his attention was gear to me.  Well the concert was just the beginning of if all. You see we have been back and forth in our relationship that flirting always happens but tonight more happened. He got drunk and kissed an other girl!! yah not just any girl this girl I met the weekend prior. She kissed his neck first and next thing I know his kissing her in front of me!!! I was so pissed and hurt I had to leave.

Here's the catch to it all before all this happened, He and I were going to the BYU game together well the next morning he asked if he could come still, after talking to him about what had happened the night before I knew it was best to not be involved with him. He didn't come to the game, I sold his ticket and I erased his number from my phone.

So far I feel great not speaking to him and I'm doing better. From this experience I know for a sureity that BOyS will do anything to get what they want, their selfish and think only of themselves. The second they have what they want they blow you away. BOYs BOYS BOYs ...you cant live with them ..and you cant live without them.  I have learned I want A GENTleMEn who is mature, who doesn't play games and will treat me well no matter if under pressured or not.
